Transportable Electric Scooters
If you’re looking for a scooter that is easy to move from location to location, a transportable electric scooter is what you need. When disassembled, the heaviest piece typically weighs between 40 and 60 lbs, making them a manageable option for most travelers. How fast can I book mobility equipment?
To ensure equipment availability, we recommend that you contact us at least 48 hours in advance for land-based rentals. Of course, in an emergency situation, we’ll try to get you the equipment you need as fast as we can.
How do I pay for the equipment rental?
Scootaround accepts payment by major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Due to the international nature of our business, all prices are quoted / billed in US dollars.
Where do I pick up and drop off the equipment?
Scootaround will deliver the equipment right to your hotel or residence.
For hotel rentals, simply leave the equipment at the hotel bell desk.

Will the equipment fit into the trunk of a car?
Transportable scooters can be disassembled and loaded into the trunk of a medium to full-sized car (with the heaviest piece weighing between 35 and 60 pounds).
Standard/Heavy Duty scooters and powerchairs cannot be disassembled and are more suitable to be transported in a minivan or SUV.
